RiversWest Board Meeting 12/5/09
A board meeting was held on Monday, 12/5. These are the highlights of the meeting:

1. This is the time to renew memberships, the sooner the better for the sake of RiversWest!
   
2. The website is now up to date, thanks to Randy Torgerson
3. The mailing list has been updated with all current members
4. The Portland Boat Show is coming up on Jan 13-17. The expenses of participating were approved
5. All rental bays are now filled and we have $3852 in the bank
6. Tentative decision made on insurance, pending discussion between Jim Litton, Peter Wilcox and the agent
7. Annual membership meeting will be held on Jan 30 at the Lucky Lab on Hawthorne, 6:00-9:00. We will need to elect a new President and Treasurer, as well as new board members, volunteers welcome!
   
8. We will be holding a Paddle workshop, also on Jan 30 at the Lucky Lab, from 10:00-12:00
9. Several shop upgrades and projects in process
