Crater Lake BoatsThese two hulls are free to a good home. If both are desired, they are free. If you can take only one, the cost is $1,500.
RiversWest is a non-profit boat building club in Portland, Oregon. We own two of the four tour boats originally built for use on Crater Lake. One of the remaining boats was restored and is serving as a tour boat on Priest Lake in Northern Idaho (look for the craft KANIKSU in this article). Another was decommissioned for parts, leaving only our two boats. The hulls are 39’ X 11’ 6” X 2’ 8” ‘V’ hulls built for single engines and designed by the Yacht designer William Atkin. Engines are not included with either of the two boats. A brief history of the Crater Lake Boats is at this page. The solid mahogany hulls were based upon the Atkin ‘Salimina' design. The Salimina was a classic cabin cruiser as shown here.
