Featured Boat
Lincolnville Salmon Wherry

This boat is a replica of a historically significant wherry used
for salmon fishing along the Penobscot Bay in Maine during the
19th and early 20th century. Boat builders at that time fashioned
a working craft after the classic lines of wherries dating back to the
American Colonial Period and beyond. Jim Litton, who built this boat
in 2006, is graciously offering  the boat for all to use on the water.
This is a great opportunity to share in small craft history

Hagg Lake is a great place to have fun with all of us who share a love of small boats.
The quiet sheltered cove is ideal for family boating. The picnic site offers
plenty of lawn space for your car-top boat.
