ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT 

I know you got a message not long ago about our annual meeting, but here's another. We will meet again at the Rose City Yacht Club, 3737 NE Marine Drive, on Feb 23 at 6:00 pm. Remember the gate is monitored between 5:45 and 6:30 pm, if you come before or after, just call me on my phone ,503-334-7546 on the clubhouse phone 503-282-2049 and we will let you in.

From the annual planning meeting we learned that the food and refreshments were spot on, so we will do it again: pizza, salad, beer and wine, and soft beverages. We have some important things to discuss, officers and board to elect, and some fun too. This is the one and only meeting of the year where ALL members are together to discuss the health and future of RiversWest, so as your President, I encourage all to attend. Bring your husbands and wives, partners and best friends.

 Asking for RSVPs is alway tricky. If we don't, we have no idea how many pizzas to buy (left over beer is never a problem). On the other hand if you don't reply you might feel like you're not welcome at the last minute. That's NOT TRUE, even if you only come at the last minute, please come anyway--I'll gladly give you my share of the pizza. So can I ask a reply if you can make it so we can order properly.
